The ON Advertising Awards Festival is held for the second consecutive year

Fourth year Advertising and Public Relations students exhibited their final degree projects as part of the II ON Advertising Awards Festival. The jury consisted of professionals from the advertising sector. 

The motto for this year was: “Premios ON, ¡que comience la función!” The Festivla involved viewing various video case studies of the student’s final degree projects on repositioning and launch campaigns for various brands such as Violeta by Mango, Codorníu and Pepe Jeans.

The jury, which included Luis García del Oro, creative director at Vinizius Young & Rubicam; Zahaira Fabiola González, director ofLa Casita de Comunicación; Juan Pablo Huizi, creative director at Venimos en son de paz, and Marta Salvat, CEO at Onza Comunicación, awarded the prizes for the three corresponding categories: innovation, creativity and campaign resolution.

The prize for best innovation was awarded to a group called Guiglo, consisting of students Lidia Laffitte, Nuria Fernández and Laia Fernández. The prize for best creation was for the group that presented a repositioning campaign for Codorníu, consisting of Carlos Gómez, Alejandra Rovira and Inés Alonso. Finally, the group that was awarded best campaign resolution, Violeta by Mango, consisted of Elena Lloret, Pablo Iriarte and Ángela Gamero.

The Young Talent award was a new feature this year, all Advertising and Public Relations students were eligible to apply for it, after undertaking a briefing session set up by fourth year students, who then went on to be members of the jury as well.  This year Eva Queralt from third year won the prize.

This festival was set up with the aim of demonstrating the talent of the university’s final year students before renowned professionals from advertising agencies and public relations companies.  The second edition of these awards was inspired by The Great Gatsby and art deco.
