Alumnus Beatriz Doria Jaureguizar receives her law office in the 71st judicial appointments ceremony
The former class of 2013 student of UIC Barcelona joins the legal profession with a posting to the Gavà Mixed Jurisdiction court
Beatriz Doria Jaureguizar , former law student of UIC Barcelona, joins the 7th Gavà Court of First Instance and Instruction after receiving her office in a ceremony presided over by King Felipe VI, Rafael Mozo, interim president of the General Council for Judiciary Power, and Jorge Jiménez director of the Judicial School.
After six years preparing the bar examination, Beatriz Doria Jaureguizar has qualified in the 71st class of the judicial profession, which has 171 new judges, 125 women and 46 men.
The magistrate began her law studies at UIC Barcelona in 2009. Up to now, she has been practising in a law firm and in the courts. “I remember the close relationship with the lecturers of the faculty. Some of them even encouraged me to undertake this project, for which I am grateful. I have great memories of the University,” Doria told UIC Barcelona.
