Antoni Bosch Named Member of Catalan Court of Arbitration
Antoni Bosch Carrera, a lecturer from the UIC Barcelona’s Faculty of Law, was recently named a member of the Catalan Court of Arbitration, a renowned institution that arbitrates in the disputes brought before it.
Bosch Carrera is a notary public and has been a lecturer at several Catalan universities. He has also written a number of books and articles on law and contemporary politics. He is a member of the Observatory of Private Law of Catalonia and has led or been part of numerous institutions related to education and social cohesion.
The Catalan Court of Arbitration was founded in 1989 with support from various associations, including the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the Barcelona Bar Association and the Association of Notaries Public of Catalonia. Since its inception, the Court has worked for the benefit of society by providing conflict resolution mediated by neutral professionals of established integrity and prestige with outstanding professional careers.
In July 2014, the UIC Barcelona signed a cooperation agreement with the Court in recognition of the need for and value of training in the culture of arbitration as an indispensable factor for anyone participating in arbitral proceedings.
