The Archbishop of Urgell visits our Sant Cugat Campus

The Archbishop of Urgell and Co-Prince of Andorra, Monseigneur Joan-Enric Vives, visited UIC Barcelona’s Sant Cugat Campus last Friday, 26 April.

Monseigneur Vives was able to view the campus facilities at first hand, including the two university clinics, the Advanced Integral Simulation Centre (CISA) as well as the various projects, research and studies that are undertaken on this campus.  

He was accompanied by the rector of UIC Barcelona, Dr Xavier Gil, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr Albert Balaguer, and the director of the department of Physiotherapy, Dr Xavier Oliver, as well as the director of the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture, Dr Josep Lluis. The visit ended with lunch, also attended by the Opus Dei ecclesiastic judge for Catalonia, Monseigneur Ignasi Font.
