Architecture students to design the IMMA Awards

The Faculty of Communication Sciences and the ESARQ-School of Architecture are joining up for the first time in the 7th edition of the IMMA Awards Audiovisual Exhibit, which will take place on 7 June at the University.

For this edition, the Faculty of Communication Sciences has organised a competition whereby Architecture students will design the awards that will be handed out at the award ceremony for the following categories: Award for the Best Final Degree Project, Audience Award and Award for the Best Degree Project.

The Architecture students who take part in this contest will have complete freedom when it comes to creating the pieces and choosing the materials. The Faculty Board, along with a group of Audiovisual Communication students, will be charged with selecting the three awards that will be bestowed upon the Audiovisual Communication students the day of the IMMA Awards.

For this edition of the awards, a new category has been created to recognise the Best Degree Project created by students from years one through four from the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication. The aim of these awards is to acknowledge the talent of the University's Audiovisual Communication and Architecture students, irrespective of year.
