Artist Cinta Vidal starts a mural on the Barcelona Campus

Illustrator and muralist Cinta Vidal started painting a large-format mural today on the University’s Barcelona Campus. The initiative is framed within the Impars project and has been organised in cooperation with the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture.
The work is due to occupy two separate spaces in the University: the doorway to the entrance of the Barcelona Campus and the façade of the Aula Magna. The mural will revolve around the subject of the university as a forum for debate, education, research and the transfer of knowledge to society.

The artist is scheduled to finish the work on Friday 3 May. That same day, she will give a lecture, open to the public and all design schools in Barcelona, in which she will discuss her creative process and the techniques she used in creating the mural.
