Led by lecturer Maria Cristina Tresserres, the B-EXCELLENT programme offers a combination of theory and practical training to its participants, including discussions about real cases and direct interaction with top level professionals. In this edition, students will have the opportunity to share sessions with experts such as Raúl Chanclon, with extensive experience in brands such as NISSAN, VOLKSWAGEN-AUDI and SEAT, and Josep Talavera, co-founder and CEO of MUNDIMOTO. In addition, ADEVINTA, a leading company in digital classifieds has collaborated with the programme.

Five sessions will be held between UIC Barcelona and ADEVINTA headquarters, and topics like the impact of intelligent transport systems and electric mobility will be addressed. The first session “Breaking the Frame”, was held in 23 October at the Aula Jardí, with Raúl Chanclon as the keynote speaker. It explored how students can broaden their vision of the sector and adapt to an ever-changing business landscape.

The programme will continue with the sessions “Facing the Future” and “Challenges & Entrepreneurship”, which will take place at the ADEVINTA headquarters and at the UIC Barcelona Saló de Graus respectively, and will be presented by Josep Talavera. Students will have priority access to a special collaboration session with the Ciclo Emprèn, the Alumni Entrepreneurship Series, where they can share their concerns with experienced entrepreneurs.

The B-EXCELLENT programme aims to offer participants a comprehensive educational experience that prepares them for the demands of the working world. Through a rigorous selection process, participating students have already demonstrated an excellent academic record and a strong motivation to become future business leaders. Through this experience, they will learn about how larger companies function and acquire skills to face the challenges of the sector.
