Banc Sabadell presents its «Talent Graduate Programme» to Business Administration and Management students
On Monday 16 December Ms Anna Alsina, HRBP for Corporate Operations and Development at Banc Sabadell taught a session to Business Administration and Management students, including students taking a subject in Human Resource Management.
During her talk, Alsina presented the “Talent Graduate Programme” which offers recent graduates the opportunity to take part in a two-year track in different areas of the company. The speaker underlined the fact that today’s talent lies in young people who speak languages (apart from English), who are open to moving abroad for jobs, are good at working in a team, are willing to learn and have a positive attitude.
She explained in detail how the work undertaken is evaluated at Banc Sabadell and how they pinpoint emerging talent in their company via a committee. Through structured interviews and different assessment methodologies they analyse the degree of potential people have and their development. In relation to being an HR executive, Anna Alsina pointed out that it is a very dynamic job, in which you have to continuously adapt to new situations and placed an emphasis on the ability to listen to and feel empathy for people within the organisation.
The “Talent Graduate Programme” is aimed at recent graduates with high potential, who will have the opportunity to get to know the organisation in-depth, rotate between different positions and units and take on responsibilities from the first day onwards. At the same time they will be involved in an extensive two-year training programme. Once this period is over, the most outstanding participants will take on new responsibilities in the heart of the various departments and business units. Candidates must pass a rigorous selection process consisting of logical reasoning and numerical reasoning tests, personality, English, and group dynamic tests, as well as various personal interviews.
