Berzosa Franco Gives Lecture at UIC on Objective of Civil Proceedings
On Wednesday, 21 November 2012, Dr. Victoria Berzosa Franco, a full professor of Procedural Law at the Universitat de Barcelona, gave a lecture as part of the seminar being held in the Department of Procedural Law and coordinated by Professor Carlos de Miranda. Dr. Berzosa Franco gave a speech titled "The Objective of Civil Proceedings: the Relationship Between Articles 218 and 400 of Spanish Civil Procedure Law (LEC)".
Since last year, the Department of Procedural Law
has been carrying out an intensive training programme aimed at teachers of the
subject and senior students interested in the subject.
Dr. Berzosa
Franco was awarded a doctoral degree from the Universitat de Barcelona and is
now a full professor of Procedural Law at the same university. She has been
vice dean of the Faculty of Law, a tutor and coordinator on the doctoral
programmes in Procedural Law and a member of the Doctoral Committee. She is
currently a member of the Council of the Universitat de Barcelona, the
Technical Committee on Social, Legal and Human Sciences for the validation of
foreign doctoral degrees, the Law Faculty Board and the Commission of
Postgraduate and Continuing Education in that same faculty.
