Classes begin on the Experience Campus in Andorra

Thanks to the agreement established with the Fundació Crèdit Andorrà, the UIC Barcelona Experience Campus has also begun to offer its academic proposal in the Pyrenees principality. Andorra joins the other two campuses in Barcelona and the Penedès region, which provide training for people over age 50.

On Wednesday, 19 October, UIC Barcelona Rector Alfonso Méndiz extended an online welcome to the new students from the Principality of Andorra. They began this introductory course in which they will cover subjects related to Andorra: history, Romanesque art or the relationship of the Principality with Europe. The academic programme will last three years with no previous degree requirements, just like it was done in Barcelona and the Penedès region. Additionally, the Andorran students will also become part of the UIC Barcelona community.

The Experience Campus began in 2019 and last year, the first students graduated and obtained a Diploma in the Senior University Programme in Culture, Science and Society. This year, the 5th edition of the senior programme begins.

The training in Andorra will take place on Wednesdays, combining the face-to-face and online formats. The academic year will end in June 2023.
