CUO Treats Ukraine Children Once Again This Summer

Twelve Ukrainian children will be treated on Tuesday, 6 August 2013 at the UIC's University Dental Clinic (CUO).

A group of orphans spending a few days on holiday in Spain with host families will be treated at the CUO.

Through this initiative, the CUO takes part in the social cooperation activities organized by the Verge de la Gleva Foundation with the collaboration of the Group of Catalan Family Organizations (GEC) and other family associations such as FANOC (Association of Large Families of Catalonia) and Acción Familiar.

The CUO has been collaborating with the Foundation’s Ukraine Project for six years by making its facilities and human team available to these children, who come each year to spend their holidays in Spain.

The CUO was set up to provide clinical training for advanced dentistry students so they can gain practical knowledge and apply the most innovative industry techniques in a real working environment. The CUO now has 56 latest-generation dentist chairs to provide service to these needy children.
