The Faculty of Dentistry was interested in the subject
matter covered by the conference, including the topics curriculum design in
higher education, accreditation and quality assurance in bachelor's and
postgraduate degree programmes.

The UIC participants included Lluís Giner, the Dean of the Faculty,
Imma Puga,
the Academic Director, and Elisa Sanagustín, the Academic Secretary.
Moreover, UIC professors Ignacio Segarra, Deborah Violant,
Cristina Cuadros and María Arregui presented two posters: “Outcomes of an Innovative
Joint Research Project” and “A New Research Training Program for Dental
Students”.

The conference participants had the chance to get to
know initiatives and innovations for the development of research projects and
relations with industry. More than 700 delegates from universities in 70
different countries attended the conference.
