The award-winning student received the diploma on 24 October, in a ceremony organised by the Conference of Deans and Academic Directors of Spanish Faculties and Schools of Dentistry (CRADO) and sponsored by the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (FENIN).

Dr Lluís Giner, president of CRADO and dean of the UIC Barcelona Faculty of Dentistry, opened the ceremony by congratulating the winners and publicly recognising the hard work of all the students. He spoke on the value of effort and perseverance, and of constant continuing education. Dr Giner also alluded to the passion for dentistry, and the importance of support from the families who encouraged all the brilliant academic records who were there present.
