Department of Physiotherapy Attends WCPT Congress 2015 in Singapore
The UIC Barcelona Department of Physiotherapy presented four papers at the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) Congress, the most important international event in the physiotherapy calendar. This year’s edition was held in Singapore from Friday, 1 to Monday, 4 May 2015. The four papers presented by the department were related to the UIC’s Postgraduate Programme in Physiotherapy and the Master's Programme in Physiotherapy and Scientific Evidence.
The papers presented were: “Stabilometric Behaviour Patterns under Static Conditions among Healthy Individuals Aged 18 to 65 Years Old from Functional Data Analysis”, “Estimates of Normal Stabilometry Ranges under Static Conditions in Healthy Individuals Aged 18 to 65 Years Old”, “Validation of the PAQ-C Questionnaire to Assess Physical Activity in Spanish Older Children”, and “Barriers to Implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP): A Survey of Colombian and Spanish Physiotherapists”. The papers were written by Dr. Caritat Bagur, Dr. Juan José García-Tirado, Dr. Montserrat Girabent, Dr. Pere Rodríguez, Dr. Pol Serra, Jordi Calvo-Sanz and Laia Monné-Guash.
