A Saturday morning is a good time to go on a cultural getaway. The first one was held on 26 November and led by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr Judith Urbano. This was how the Cultural Getaways Group started up.

PDI and PAS staff members, and students from UIC Barcelona went on a voyage of discovery around Roman Barcelona. This included visits to the cemetery, the old Roman walls, the Temple of Augustus and the archaeological remains in the city’s History Museum.
