Dr. Arrighi Attends Annual Meeting of Mexico’s National Cancer Institute

Dr. Emilia Arrighi, Research Manager at UIC Barcelona’s Albert J. Jovell Institute of Public Health and Patients, attended the 32nd annual meeting of Mexico’s National Cancer Institute (INCan). She gave the lecture “Delivering Bad News” at the Institute’s annual meeting, which was held on Monday to Wednesday, 23-25 February 2015, in Mérida, Yucatán. She also gave a lecture at the INCan offices in Mexico City on Thursday, 26 February 2015, in which she addressed members of the various care teams, including doctors, nurses, psychologists and social workers.

Dr. Arrighi also presented the activities of the Albert J. Jovell Institute of Public Health and Patients to INCan management, and this allowed them to detect areas of shared interest, including training and research programmes.
