Dr Isadora García completed a research stay between 29 June and 31 July at the Centre for Adaptations at De Montfort University. Dr García reviewed, from a theoretical stance, the concept of “faithfulness to the original work” at this multidisciplinary centre in Leicester (UK). 

As Dr García from the Faculty of Communication Sciences explains, the aim “is to establish, on the one hand, a dialogue between purely theoretical analyses of the notion of faithfulness, and the use which a number of professionals working on television and/or cinema adaptations make of it on the other hand”. 

It was an experience which Dr García highly valued. “I’m delighted because I received a lot of help with my research”.
