Dr. Lázaro Speaks in Reims about Catalan Law and Parental Relationships in Stepfamilies

Dr. Carmen Maria Lázaro, a professor in the UIC Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences, gave the lecture "Parenthood in Stepfamilies Under Catalan Law" at the congress «The Complementarity of the Sexes in Family Law», which took place on Monday, 8 April 2013, at the Université de Reims in France.

The congress, organized by the Université de Reims and the Grand-Est Regional Bar Association (ERAGE), addressed the complementarity of the sexes in family law.

The event, presided over by Dr. Catherine Labrusse-Riou, an emeritus professor at the Université de Panthéon-Sorbonne, focused on issues such as sexual identity in case law of the Court of Cassation, gender rights and the stability of parental relationships in cases of forced separation.

Dr. Carmen Maria Lázaro gave the lecture "Parenthood in Stepfamilies Under Catalan Law", in which she discussed how Catalan law treats parental relationships in stepfamilies.
