On 15 March, Dr Lluís Giner, dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, was chosen to become the new president of the Conference of Deans and Academic Directors of Spanish Faculties and Schools of Dentistry (CRADO). Dr Giner, who up until now has held the position of secretary of the organisation, will replace lecturer José Carlos de la Macorra, who was president of the CRADO until his position as dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Complutense University of Madrid came to an end.

Dr Lluís Giner presented his candidacy together with Dr María Jesús Mora, dean of the University of Santiago de Compostela, who has been elected secretary of the Conference of Deans and Academic Directors of Spanish Faculties and Schools of Dentistry. “I am so grateful for all the support and acceptance received from all the members of the CRADO. We have a lot of work ahead of us, which we will be undertaking with much anticipation and excitement”, says Dr Giner.
