Dr. Tanganelli Discusses Investments of Japanese Multinationals in Europe

Dr. David Tanganelli, a professor in the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, gave the lecture «Japanese Subsidiaries in the European Union: Entry Modes and Performance» at the 26th Conference of the Association of Japanese Business Studies (AJBS), which was held in Istanbul on Tuesday, 2 July 2013.

In his presentation, Dr. Tanganelli, together with Prof. Jean-Louis Schaan from the Ivey Business School in Canada, discussed the investments made by Japanese multinationals in the European Union, as well as the companies’ entry modes and performance.

The conference was organized by the AJBS, an association of management experts and business professionals pursuing the exchange of information and ideas concerning the Japanese business system. The association works with the Academy of International Business (AIB), which also held its conference in Istanbul from Wednesday to Friday, 3-6 July 2013.
