Dr Vallès participates in a conference commemorating 50 years of the Spanish novel

The conference was intended to expand the current focus on the democratic transition to a wider process of Spanish narrative, or narrative written in Spain, during the democratic period

The UIC Barcelona Faculty of Humanities lecturer Teresa Vallès took part in the International Conference 50 Years of the Spanish Novel (1970-2019) presenting a paper “Carlos Colina and the detective genre: from the consumer novel to the literary novel”.

The conference was held from 2 to 5 May in Barbastro to celebrate the 50th edition of the "City of Barbastro International Short Story Award" intended to cover the evolution of Spanish narrative over the last five decades.
