Drs Fuentes and Urbano, guest speakers at the conference at Technische Universität Dresden

Organised by the Carl Justi Association, the conference focused on sacral Gothic architecture in the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America between the 19th and 21st centuries.

Dr Sergio Fuentes and Dr Judith Urbano, from the Faculty of Humanities, were recently invited to present at the conference Gotik global-kolonial-postkolonial: Gotisierende Sakralarchitektur auf der Iberischen Halbinsel und in Lateinamerika. The conference took place at Technische Universität Dresden and was organised by the Carl Justi Association.

This association promotes cooperation between Germany, Spain, Portugal and Ibero-America in the field of art history. Dr Fuentes’s talk touched on the architecture of Domènech Estapà, while Dr Urbano spoke about the architecture of Font Carreras.
