Enrique Rovira-Beleta takes part in the Conference on Inclusive Tourism

On 24 May 2016, Enrique Rovira-Beleta, lecturer in Accessibility and director of the Postgraduate Degree in Accessibility and Design for All at the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture, was invited to take part in the Conference on Inclusive Tourism, organised by the training programme Turisme 360⁰.

Enrique Rovira-Beleta delivered a lecture on the integrated implementation of accessibility requirements in architecture projects. During the conference, a number of representatives from the local government and tourism entrepreneurs advocated the need for inclusive tourism, citing the important market share that people with disabilities represent.

Turisme 360⁰ is an online professional training programme set up by the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board. It also coordinates a number of face-to-face sessions, which took place between October 2015 and June 2016.
