The ESARQ - School of Architecture organises activities to welcome and integrate students

Throughout the first week of September, the ESARQ - School of Architecture welcomed new students and organised a host of cultural and social activities. This year, the School has more than 60 first-year students from four continents and 33 nationalities.

The Welcome Week featured a series of activities designed to welcome new students and help them adapt to life at the University. The purpose of all this was to provide a series of activities for all first-year students to introduce them to the School, give them the opportunity to discover the city of Barcelona and encourage informal communication.

On the first day of the new academic year, the students met the management team, visited the facilities and received information on all required procedures.

Over the course of the next few days they took part in guided tours of the city of Barcelona, as well as numerous cultural and social activities. In each activity they were accompanied by School lecturers and “host students”.

Welcoming and integrating students are priorities for the ESARQ - School of Architecture at UIC Barcelona.
