The Faculty of Communication Sciences launches the first UIC Barcelona Short Story Competition
Participants will be asked to write a short story in Catalan or Spanish, based on journalism and a passion for storytelling.
The Faculty of Communication Sciences has launched the first UIC Barcelona Short Story Competition, aimed at upper secondary school students in Catalonia who have a particular interest in pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Audiovisual Communication or Advertising and Public Relations in the future.
Participants will have to write a short story in Catalan or Spanish of no more than 4,000 words, which has journalism and a passion for this vocation as its principal motif. Entries must be submitted by 31 March 2021 through the corresponding channels. Prizes will be awarded by a jury composed of experts from the Faculty to the three best stories.
