The Faculty of Dentistry at the 47th Meeting of the Continental European Division of the Association for Dental Research (IADR)
Lecturer Maria Arregui, alongside Ester Mestre, Lluís Giner and Montse Mercadé, took part in the 47th Meeting of the Continental European Division of the International Association for Dental Research (IADRI), held in Antalya (Turkey) on 15, 16 and 17 October. There they presented the poster “Validating the Spanish Version of the DECLEI Survey".
Professor Arregui also chaired the oral presentation sessions on “Evidence-Based Dentistry” and “Clinical Practice-Based Research”. As part of the Meeting, the Faculty of Dentistry also set up a stand. This stand was visited by over five hundred people, who were greeted by the Faculty Manager, Mr Joan Vidal, and the Dean, Dr Lluís Giner.
The purpose of these meetings, and of the IADR itself, is to advance research and increase knowledge for the improvement of oral health worldwide. The focus of its work is to establish support programmes to promote oral health research and organise activities to further develop partnerships with other dental organisations, institutions, industry, scientists and teachers.
