The Faculty of Humanities’ official degrees are successfully accredited by AQU Catalunya
The review committee highlights the personalized treatment to the student and the commitment of the faculty professionals
Over the last few months, the Faculty of Humanities has undertaken the process for accreditation of the Bachelor's Degree in Humanities and Cultural Studies and the University Master’s Degree in Cultural Management. This process is described in the Framework for the Verification, Monitoring, Modification and Accreditation of official degree programmes (MVSMA) established by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU).
On 17 January 2019, an external review committee, appointed by AQU Catalunya, came to the Faculty of Humanities in order to assess the development of the faculty's degree programmes.
Both programmes successfully passed the accreditation process, which enables them to maintain their status as official degrees. In addition, the external committee identified a number of strengths and good practices that attest to the effective functioning of the programmes. These are: personalised student attention, the great commitment shown in the dedication of staff and the continued incorporation of measures for improvement in the programmes.
The Faculty will continue to work to maintain and improve the academic quality of the range of degree programmes that we run.
Lastly, the Board would like to thank all those who have been involved in this process, with special thanks to those who took part on the day of the review.
