Ferran Clavell Attends Presentation of Audiovisual Platforms Projects

On Friday, 18 January 2013, Ferran Clavell, the Head of Content and Interactive Media at Catalan television channel TV3, attended a presentation of the final projects carried out by students on the Audiovisual Platforms subject. The fourth-year Audiovisual Communication students pitched their projects, thus bringing the Audiovisual Platforms subject to a close.

The students designed a multiplatform strategy
to raise awareness about a specific communication project: fundraising methods,
the platforms used to promote them and the role played by social networks in
publicizing the project. The presentations were carried out using the Pecha
Kucha format in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each.

Ferran Clavell, the Head of Content and Interactive Media at
TV3, and Dr. Ricard Mamblona, the Head of the Audiovisual Communication
degree course, attended the presentations.

Clavell pointed out that the most interesting aspect
of the subject was that “the students knew how to get the most out of their
ideas”, as well as which elements to include in future projects. Dr. Mamblona then said that the end result may be “a good
way to expand products that have already been created” and transfer them to
other areas.
