The
congress is held every two years in Latin America and the UIC has been involved
in its organization for the last six years. The last two editions were held in
Guatemala and Mexico, and Colombia has been chosen to host this fifth edition.

It
will take place at the Universidad El Bosque in
Bogotá, one of Colombia's most prestigious universities in the field of
dentistry. The congress will deal with a number of topics, including new
perspectives in dentistry throughout the world, and will promote meetings
between dentists to encourage them to exchange experience and knowledge.

It
will be coordinated by Dr. Miguel Roig, the
Head of Aesthetic Dentistry, and Lissethe Peñate, a professor of Restorative and Preventive Dentistry at the
UIC.
