Pupgam Studios has launched Bubble Guriko, a video game for mobile phones and a digital form of entertainment, with the aim of expanding in Europe, the United Stated and Japan, where the game is expected to be presented in the coming months. The company CEO is 24-year-old Marc Cervera, a young man who holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) and who has managed to combine his passion for video games with his interest in business administration.
Bubble Guriko, which is now available for Android devices and will soon be released for iOS, is a free and social video game. It is also the first project in the world of bubble-based video games for mobiles created by a Spanish design studio.
The proposal from Pupgam Studios “is a bubble-based video game that's different and fun. It's based on characters that were created to trap the player right from the start", said the CEO and founder of the start-up Pupgam Studios. According to Cervera, “The fact that it's free and social will be one of the keys to positioning it at the top of the list of the most downloaded bubble-based games".
Cervera went on to explain that the game "offers players a very different dynamic compared to other bubble-based games on the market because it enables them to choose exactly where they want the ball to go and they can also interact with the game characters and other players". This naturally makes the game "a completely addictive experience".
According to 33-year-old Carles Escribano, Technology Director and co-founder of Pupgam Studios, the female audience, which represents 50% of all video game players in Spain, "will find that Bubble Guriko is a highly attractive proposal in terms of graphics and the ideal form of entertainment to switch off and unwind".
Escribano said, “One of the keys of Bubble Guriko is that the "Gurikos", or main characters, are very different from the characters in conventional bubble-based games because they "include a villain who makes it hard to reach the next level, as well as the characters Kim and Dan, who are much nicer and more fun”.
The game is based on a model that prioritizes the player experience. The plot revolves around the battle of the Gurikos, the inhabitants of planet Guriko, who fight against Cosmos, the villain who wants to dominate them. Each Guriko has its own personality and unique colours and all of these charismatic characters come to life in a very attractive graphic environment.
