UIC Barcelona and the Fundació Damm have signed a collaboration agreement, which includes the creation of three Fundació Damm grants, new grants for UIC Barcelona students, which will expand the University's scholarship and grant programme.
The three grants will be for students with good academic records and limited financial resources, and will help them cover part of their tuition, in the line of the UIC Barcelona #NingunTalentoSinFuturo corporate campaign.
Ramon Agenjo, patron-director of the Fundació Damm, and Dr Alfonso Méndiz, rector of UIC Barcelona, were present at the signing of the agreement. “The Fundació Damm is an organization committed to people, supporting projects with entities with which, like UIC Barcelona, it shares values such as solidarity, equality and respect,” Agenjo said during the signing of the agreement. Alfonso Méndiz, thanked the Fundació Damm for its contribution and commitment to the university project, and its commitment to training.
This scholarship extends the University's scholarship and grant programme, which is currently 5.7 million euros.
