The lecture focused on the experience of the project's creators, María Ángeles de Juan and fourth-year Nursing students Gemma Aregay and Júlia Glanadell, in Guatemala in the summer of 2013.

The educational workshop was offered in different Guatemalan villages to 18 groups of health promoters, each made up of 360 people. The methodology used involved the exploration of needs associated with health and hygiene issues, workshop design, monitoring and evaluation.

The project won first prize at the meeting. The winners will have the chance to publish their paper in an academic nursing journal and attend training courses.
