Guillem Carabí Discusses Jujol's Architecture at 14th Architecture Biennale in Venice

On the occasion of the inauguration of the Catalan pavilion on Friday, 6 June 2014, at the 14th Mostra Internazionale di Architettura della Biennale di Venezia, Guillem Carabí discussed the architecture of Josep Maria Jujol, which served as the starting point for the ideas expressed in the pavilion.

Guillem Carabí, a lecturer in the Department of Composition at the ESARQ School of Architecture and the assistant curator of the Catalan pavilion at the Biennale, wrote an article published on the ESARQ Week blog on the exposition, main idea and projects in the pavilion. He also discussed how the refurbishment of Jujol's Casa Bofarull played an important role as an example of the Catalan proposal.

Architect Josep Torrents is the curator of the Catalan pavilion in its second appearance at the Biennale. The pavilion is sponsored by the Ramon Llull Institute.
