The Institute for Multilingualism presents two studies at an international conference on the quality of bilingual programmes

Helena Roquet, director of the Institute for Multilingualism, and Jennifer Ament, a lecturer in the Institute, presented two different studies at the International Conference on Quality of Bilingual Programmes in Higher Education, which took place from 10-12 May at the University of Huelva.

The director of the Institute presented the study "Integrating Content and Language in Higher Education: Examining the Effects on Language Gain", while Jennifer Ament addressed the topic of student motivation with a presentation entitled "Measuring Learner Motivation: Attitudes and Anxiety in the EMI Context". 

The conference explored issues related to the quality of bilingual programmes in Higher Education, such as education policies, methodological procedures, language requirements, training and teacher support. Altogether 142 speakers took part in 94 talks, workshops, round table discussions and plenary sessions.
