Participants included representatives from the Universidad de La Sabana in Colombia, the Universidad de Piura in Peru, the Universidad de Navarra, Universidad Panamericana in Mexico, and the host of the event, the Universidad de Los Andes in Chile. The conference focused on the most critical issues affecting today's families and on establishing guidelines to enable university family institutes to address these new challenges.

 

In her paper, Dr. Montserrat Gas spoke about the research areas of the UIC Barcelona Institute with a special focus on the Santander IsFamily Chair. Specific agreements were also reached at the conference to organize collaborative research projects with other family institutes.
