Josep Maria Bunyol Shares Experience as Critic with Third-Year Audiovisual Communication Students
The scriptwriter and media critic Josep Maria Bunyol gave the talk, The Critic's Experience in the First Person, to third year students taking the Television Analysis and Review subject as part of the Audiovisual Communication degree programme.
In a relaxed and informal session, Bunyol shared his experience with the students as a critic for a variety of audiovisual media outlets and especially for television and radio. He explained how he approaches reviewing and mentioned the points he highlights when creating a review.
The talk took place as part of the Television Analysis and Review subject, which is taught by Raquel Crisóstomo to third-year students on the Audiovisual Communication degree programme.
Bunyol is a scriptwriter for Catalunya Ràdio's En Guardia! programme and frequently contributes to TV3’s Els Matins and RAC 1’s Via Lliure in his capacity as a film critic. He also writes articles for Serielizados magazine.
The session was one of many that are regularly organized by the Faculty of Communication Sciences in order to give students an insight into the everyday workings of the audiovisual world.
