Jurists meet at UIC Barcelona to discuss the latest changes in corporate taxation

More than 300 people took part in the seminar on changes in corporate taxation organized by the Faculty of Law and the legal practice Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira.

The seminar dealt with topical issues such as the evolution of Tax Crime, the impact of Income Tax on designing remuneration policies, the international context of Company Tax, the reform of the General Tax Law and the current situation of corporation taxation.

Attendees included senior figures from the Directorate General for Taxation (Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations): Manuel de Miguel, deputy director general of individual income tax at the Directorate General for Taxation; Begoña García-Rozado, deputy director general of company income tax at the Directorate General for Taxation, and Diego Martín-Abril, the director general of Taxation.

Participants from Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira were: Carlos Puig Munné, partner at Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira; Luis Jordana de Pozas, non-practising prosecutor and partner in the Criminal Department of Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira and the Family Enterprise Institute;  Mariano Puig Planas, founder and former president of the Family Enterprise Institute and honorary president of European Family Business, Puig Group; and Juan Corona, general manager of the Family Enterprise Institute.
