Kajander-Unkuri Talks About Experience of Studying Nursing in Finland

Satu Kajander-Unkuri, a lecturer from the Department of Nursing Science at Savonia University of Applied Sciences in lisalmi, Finland, gave the talk «How Competent are Graduating Nursing Students?» on Wednesday, 23 October 2013. The talk formed part of the cycle of conferences organized annually by the UIC's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

During her talk, Kajander-Unkuri spoke about the results of her study of Finnish nursing students’ assessment of their own skills and the experience of living and studying nursing in Finland. She also taught students in the fourth year of the Bachelor’s Degree Programme and in the Master’s Degree Programme in Nursing as part of the Erasmus teacher-exchange programme. Earlier this academic year, the UIC signed a collaboration agreement with Savonia University of Applied Sciences.
