Bruno Reguart, a law student at UIC Barcelona and part of the UIC Barcelona Sport Talent programme, has recently been proclaimed champion of the Iberian Handball Super Cup with his team, Futbol Club Barcelona. Reguart won the trophy in the final that was played in Malága, against FC Porto (32-24), in the first edition of this championship, which brought together the best clubs in the Iberian Peninsula.

The law student combines his studies with his career as a high-performance athlete with support from Sport Talent, the UIC Barcelona programme which helps top-level and/or performance athletes to combine elite sport with their university degree. Currently UIC Barcelona 38 students, 23 women and 15 men, are part of this programme that was launched in 2021, and makes a series of rights available to these student athletes to help them achieve maximum performance in both academics and sports.
