Law Students Gain Insight on Environmental Crime

Ferran Grasas, a criminal attorney at Jufresa y Asociados law firm, gave a lecture to law students on Wednesday, 17 October 2012, within the context of the continuous training programme organized by the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences.

The lecture
by Grasas was on the criminal liability of bodies corporate in environmental
crime. Grasas spoke specifically about the latest reform of the criminal code
through Organic Law 5 of 22 June 2010.

He said
that this Organic Law had resolved the controversy that existed on this matter
by irrefutably acknowledging the criminal liability of bodies corporate.

The Faculty
of Legal and Political Sciences organized this session to continue with the
continuous training classes begun last academic year.
