Lecturer David Tanganelli Presents Study on Impact of Managers’ Attitudes

David Tanganelli recently took part in this year’s edition of the annual congress Academy of International Business (AIB), which was held in Bangalore, India, from Friday to Tuesday, 26-30 June 2015.

Tanganelli presented a paper titled “The Multinationality of Spanish Firms: The Role of Managerial Attitudes Towards International Markets and Commitment Levels in Foreign Equity”, which addressed the way in which foreign markets are perceived in managerial mindsets and attitudes and how they affect a business’s international growth in terms of sales and how it breaks into new markets. Tanganelli said these mindsets can be ethnocentric, polycentric, region-centric or geocentric. 

The AIB holds the world’s most prestigious congress in the field of international management. This year’s edition attracted more than 850 participants from over 50 countries who presented nearly 600 research papers.
