Lecturer Héctor Oliva publishes a book on the Way of Saint James

‘El Camino de Santiago en 150 preguntas y un misterio sin resolver’ aims to answer questions about the Way of Saint James for those who have never taken it and to accompany those who have already begun this lifelong adventure

A lecturer at the UIC Barcelona School of Communication Sciences, Héctor Oliva has just published a book entitled El Camino de Santiago en 150 preguntas y un misterio sin resolver, which addresses  the main issues that need to be taken into account when taking one of the most popular routes on the peninsula, from a didactic point of view. The book, published by Editorial Base, aims to answer questions about the Way of Saint James for those who have never taken it and to accompany those who have already started this lifelong adventure

Oliva, who outside the classroom is professionally involved in taking groups of pilgrims on the Way of Saint James and follows the itinerary seven or eight times each year, decided to gather together all the knowledge he has about the various routes: “You share so many experiences with the pilgrims during each journey, so I decided to write down the best answers to each of the questions I was asked.” The result is a book that any pilgrim should read before, during or even after taking the Way of Saint James.

‘El Camino de Santiago en 150 preguntas y un misterio sin resolver’ is the latest book published by the lecturer from the Faculty, who has also published other travel books such as Pasajes a América (RBA) and Veinte historias de la Barcelona americana y una pregunta descarada (Editorial Base).
