The event was organized by Dr. Joan Lluís Pérez Francesch, the Head of the Department of Constitutional Law at the UAB, and featured a presentation by Sara Caramuscio, a political scientist and doctoral degree candidate at the UAB. Caramuscio focused on the details and complexities of the Italian government’s response to the massive influx of immigrants arriving on its shores, which was the subject of later discussion at the event.
