Let’s celebrate Saint Apollonia Day with the 5th edition of our Photography Competition
Once again this year, the Faculty of Dentistry celebrated the patron saint of dentists’ day with a new edition of the now traditional photography competition.
For Saint Apollonia Day, patron of dentists, the Faculty organised a new edition of the now traditional photography competition. This year’s edition, sponsored by Sanhigía and Bien Air, was attended by a total of 50 participants, divided into two different categories: dentistry and open.
Under the “dentistry” category, Marco Vinattieri, a 4th year student, won first prize for his photograph entitled “Natural Textures”. Jesús Muñoz, a first year student, won second prize for his photograph entitled “Stress-free”. The prizes for this category were a pair of Q-Optics 2,5x HD Loupes and a Bora Led Turbine, provided by the Sanhigía and Bien Air brands respectively.
Gerard Antón, a 5th year student, won the single prize under the “open” category for his photograph entitled “We have nothing to lose and a world to see”. The prize consisted of a Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 camera.
As well as the photography competition, during this event there was a mass dedicated to Saint Apollonia and refreshments were served for all the various members of the Faculty.
