The University of Turku, in Finland, has begun a study focused on evaluating professional competences during the transition people experience from being nursing degree students to the end of their first year as professional nurses. The PROCOMPnurse project, which will study the data obtained from Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, Finland and Spain, is funded by the Academy of Finland and will have a duration of three years.
