The inauguration of the Master’s Degree Programme in the Legal Profession was held on Monday, 7 September 2015. Dr. María Fernández Arrojo, the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law and the coordinator of the master's programme, welcomed this year's new students and gave a presentation on the programme methodology and structure.
The Master’s Programme in the Legal Profession stands out from other programmes of its kind because of its practical approach, its use of the case method and its teaching staff. The master's programme provides training in legal advice, litigation, professional ethics and law firm management.
This is the second time the master's degree programme has been offered in conjunction with the Barcelona Bar Association and the Association of Registrars of Catalonia. The curriculum includes a semester-long internship at one of the Faculty of Law's partner organizations, which include legal organizations and law firms such as Baker & McKenzie, BM&A, Clifford Chance, Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira, Ernst & Young, Garrigues and Roca Junyent. Internships give students the opportunity to master content that is essential for their professional careers.
