Four lecturers from the Bachelor’s Degree in Law and five from the UIC Barcelona University Master’s Degree in Law (MUA) have received recognition in the Best Lawyers International 2022 ranking, a directory that includes the most prominent lawyers based on an assessment by their colleagues covering nearly seventy countries and more than 50.000 lawyers and 140 practice areas. In Spain, 4.227 lawyers from 29 cities and 79 practice areas received recognition.

The Dean of the Faculty, Pilar Fernandez Bozal, is among the four lecturers from the Bachelor’s Degree in Law selected for the ranking. Fernández is a lecturer of Administrative Law and a partner in charge of the Public Law area at EY Abogados. The other lecturers include Tiziana di Ciommo, a lecturer of Procedural Law and Attorney in the Procedural and Arbitration Department at PwC; Jordi de Juan, a lecturer of financial law and partner in charge of the Tax Litigation team at Crowe and Xavier Amat, a lecturer of commercial law and co-founding partner at Amat & Vidal-Quadras (AVQ), where he is head of the corporate and commercial areas.

The 2022 Best Lawyers International ranking also includes MUA lecturers. They are listed below: Marcel Enrich, partner at Pérez Llorca; Pablo Franquet, partner at Fieldfisher; Fernando Jaureguizar, partner at AVQ; Maria Jesus Parra, partner at Crowe, and Aurora Sanz, partner at Grant Thornton.
