On 24 January the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees appointed Dr Núria Casals i Farré Director of the Doctoral School at UIC Barcelona. She is a Full Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences with full-time teaching duties and four six-year research periods. This appointment officially came into force on 1st January 2017.
