The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya has signed an agreement with Olympus Iberia, SAU in order for Olympus to provide audiovisual material to the university. The aim of this agreement is to place the latest technology at the disposal of UIC Barcelona students so they can benefit from the development of their professional training using top quality photographic cameras, lenses and video recorders. The material provided by Olympus consists of:

2 LS 100 audio recorders

All of the material provided by Olympus contains sophisticated technology, especially the OM-D EM-1 camera. The EM-1 is a camera with an interchangeable lens without a mirror and is the most advanced camera of its type on the market, due to micro four thirds technology.  It has new features on the sensor, the image processor, the autofocus system, as well as the possibility of controlling multiple wi-fi parameters from a smartphone. This ensures better performance and image quality.  

Olympus gave a talk at the university about using and maintaining the material it has provided, aimed at students and lecturers/professors, so they could take advantage of all the benefits offered by the technology developed by Olympus.   

This agreement was signed by the Rector of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, Dr Pere Alavedra i Ribot, Mr Miquel-Àngel Garcia Requena and Mr Emili Ripolles Redondo, the latter as representatives and agents of Olympus Iberia, SAU.
