Professor Carlos Miranda Coordinates Book on Criminal Forensics
Carlos Miranda, a professor of criminal law at the UIC Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences, coordinated the book "Criminal Forensics 1: Evidence of Crimes Against the Administration of Justice?. He also wrote one of the chapters.
Forensic science theory and practice was initially developed
in private law. It is now becoming commonplace in criminal law.
The book is the first instalment of a collection published
by WK España that deals
with the evidence stage in different criminal cases. The book is unique in that
it not only provides an exhaustive compendium of experiences on how evidence is
used to prove different types of crimes, but it also offers suggestions on how
to proceed in each investigation.
It deals exclusively with the main offenses against
the administration of justice. Readers will find information on topics such as
how to effectively prove that charges are false, how to prove that the
violation of a restraining order is intentional and many more.
